Arc Flash Analysis & Labeling
An Arc Flash is simply an electrical explosion in which temperatures may exceed 35,000° F.
The result is an arc "blast" that will likely vaporize conductors, destroy equipment,
cause fire and severe injury or death to nearby people.
In accordance with OSHA 1910 sub part S 1910 and NFPA 70E® "Standard for Electrical Safety
in the Workplace®", it is the employer’s responsibility to prevent these types of accidents
from happening. While sending employees to an American Trainco
Arc Flash Protection & Electrical Safety
training program is the first and most important step in protecting your workers, that alone is
insufficient for being in compliance or keeping your workers safe. An Arc Flash Analysis study by a
qualified, professional Electrical Engineer must be completed at your facility as well, and all
electrical panels must be properly labeled to identify the risk.
If you have not yet done an Arc Flash Analysis study at your facility and need quotes from qualified
electrical engineers, American Trainco, Inc. has relationships with expert companies and experienced
contractors who may be able to assist you. Simply let us know your needs and we will put you in direct
contact with the people who can help you. We are more than just a training company. We are dedicated
